After a three way pitch, British Marine appointed Transmission as the official video production company for the coverage of the 2018 Southampton Boat Show.
As organisers of the ten day event, British Marine wanted to build a real sense of excitement around the show during the show itself. This required fast, daily turnaround of videos for supply to the Press and the Southampton Boat Show's social media pages.
We provided a team of Camera Operators, Sound Recordists and Editors on site through the show, capturing key events and celebrity appearances on film, as well as reflecting daily themes of the show.
This footage was then edited on the go, creating highly dynamic and fast-turnaround videos for British Marine to push out to all their media outlets.
The videos contributed to an average uplift of 35% in Facebook page views, and helped boost year-on-year tickets sales by 15%. In addition, the footage captured will be used in the run up to next year's show in order to generate buzz and excitement ahead of the show.
